Winter MoonPosted by Eric Cousineau (Sherwood Park, Canada) on 15 January 2010 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. 8:29 AM - As we await the first rays of dawn to paint the tops of the mountains we enjoy the winter moon. Wine is constant proof that God loves us and loves to see us happy.

My guess is that atmospheric conditions greatly affect the quantity and quality of light that reach the earth. One critical factor is the amount of moisture in the air as this changes the prismatic diffusion of the light. On this particular morning it was brutally cold (-38C excluding wind chill) and relative humidity probably less than 10%. ;-) @Ana Lúcia: Muito obrigado Ana! ;-) @Judy: Thank you very much Judy!
