Wine is constant proof that God loves us and loves to see us happy.

I don't think of myself as a role model. I do try to live in a compassionate, considerate and positive way. The only advice I can offer is to find what you love to do, find the joy in it, and express yourself through your passion.

Lydie et Roland from BESANCON, France

Drôle de bâtisse avec ses têtes sculptées qui veillent sur la rue et les passants...

@Lydie et Roland: Merci beaucoup ! Ce style d'architecture meurt comme nous courons pour moderniser... ;-)

Japanalia from Yokohama, Japan

This is nice and old and familiar! Love the balconies with varied ironwork and the shutters, too! There is an uncertain unbalance in the architecture, but even that is not disturbing.

@Japanalia: Thank you very much Gabriela! ;-)

k@ from Paris, France

Nice shot...i see that they are so artistic in the iron works also...balconies like these are somewhat rare in America..but they exist in older parts of big cities where actually italian,s have settled got lovely light in this shot also..

@StarCosmosBleu: Thanks very much Marcel! Yes, this is an art that is dying as we race to modernize..... Some call it progress! ;-)

Mary from PA, United States

Love this Eric!!! as commented above...such rare sights in the US. I think our designers are so boring :) Art does not see to be valued in America as in other countries.

@Mary: Thank you Mary! Yes, we lose so much as we race to modernize. Some call it progress; but I beg to differ.... ;-)

Un vieil immeuble qui a une "âme". Bonne lumière qui le met bien en valeur.

28 Sep 2009 3:19pm

@Evelyne Dubos: Merci beaucoup, Evelyne ! Oui, vous avez raison. Ce vieux bâtiment a l'âme. Quelque chose que manque tristement dans les bâtiments modernes. ;-)
