Icy Tears

Posted by
Eric Cousineau (Sherwood Park, Canada) on 9 January 2010 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

As groundwater seeps through the cracks in the rock it freezes and almost gives the impression that the rocks are crying.

Ice sculptures are one of my favourite things, they are magical, this is excellent! makes me think that artist who created chandeliers must have been inspired by these, I just love it! and the stratefied rock to the right is gorgeous, def 5 stars

Cracking good icicles reminding me of The Chronicles of Narnia. The foreground is pretty over exposed though Eric, I wonder if a top end curves adjustment might bring some highlight details back.

Christel from Köln, Germany

Good evening Eric,
yes, the title is suitable for this beautiful, natural color presentation. I like the light blue touch. We will all get some nice days in the snow and then it's over. Our photos always remain in memory of it. I wish you and your family a beautiful Saturday evening. Drive carefully. Here, it was snowing today until the afternoon.
Dear greetings Christel
