BC Parliement Building

Posted by
Eric Cousineau (Sherwood Park, Canada) on 19 January 2011 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

The British Columbia Parliament Buildings are located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and serve as the seat of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. The Neo-Baroque buildings face north on Belleville street facing the Inner Harbour and diagonally across from The Empress Hotel. A large statue of Queen Victoria stands on the front lawn as well a statue of a soldier to commemorate the province's World War I, World War II and Korean War dead. Atop the central dome is a gold-covered statue of Captain George Vancouver.

I don't think of myself as a role model. I do try to live in a compassionate, considerate and positive way. The only advice I can offer is to find what you love to do, find the joy in it, and express yourself through your passion.

Good morning Eric,
An interesting building, including information. The shadows on the lawn are excellent for expression including color and detail of the overall view. 5 stars ***** All the best for your daughter-in-law, including the entire family. Dear greetings Christel
