Star Pond #2

Posted by
Eric Cousineau (Sherwood Park, Canada) on 2 May 2011 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

Most visitors leave the Japanese Garden and ascend to the Star Pond before walking through one of two gates into the Italian Garden. This twelve pointed star pond was originally a duck pond.

Of course....with this view one gets the idea of the location! It DOES look like a star among the surrounding hues of green AND a much better arrangement than a duck pond!
