I always wondered how the rock get to be eaten like that (sponge look)..do you think its sea bugs or something in that order that does that......a nice capture

@StarCosmosBleu: Thank you very much Marcel! I do not think this is caused by anything other than the organic composition of the rock and the reaction to the constant wash of the waves....... ;-)

This is absolutely superbm Eric...the treatment, perspective and just the entire composition are marvelous and extremely well framed. I love the hone-combed holes formed in teh rock surface...we had similar formations way down in San Diego where teh shore rocks were quite porous...this I take it, is still uop in Nanaimo (?) we need to meet there some day :-)...Just a beautiful piece here, Eric - I really love this one!
